With NFL Conference Championships taking place Sunday, CYInterview.com had the opportunity to participate in a couple of pre-game, press calls.

Roethlisberger told us veteran wide receivers Hines Ward and Antwaan Randle El have been very helpful with a young Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiving core including Mike Wallace, Antonio Brown and Emanuel Sanders.

“Yeah. Especially Hines. Hines has been doing this at a real high level for a really long time, one of the best receivers that I’ve ever played with. He kind of takes all those guys under his wing and teaches them the little things that he can help them with. The thing about Hines is, the football style and some of the things that he does, you can’t teach. You just have to either be born with it or whatever. He has that it factor. As much as he can, he helps those guys out and I think it’s been huge for those guys to have him and now Antwan back helping out.”

QB Roethlisberger followed up by telling us how he feels about the Steelers defense:

“It’s great. As a quarterback, when you have a defense like we have, it gives you some confidence that if you make a mistake or you don’t score every time, the defense is going to be able to be there to back you up most of the time. I enjoy watching those guys play and I’m glad they’re on my side.”

Since coming over from the San Diego Chargers to the New Jork Jets, LaDainian Tomlinson has shared time at running back with Shonn Greene. Tomlinson tells us about his transition since moving over from San Diego, where he was the Charger’s prime ball carrier at running back.

“Well, I think in this system, you really have a chance to stay fresh throughout the game. You can keep going at a team for four quarters. Usually when you’re the number one back and you take all the carries, you have to pace yourself throughout the game so you can make sure you have something left in the fourth quarter. With Shonn and I, we can just go full tilt every time we’re in there cause we know we got somebody that can come in and take some of the carries, that’s gonna take some of the snaps where both of us can stay fresh.”

It will be interesting to see who ends up in the Super Bowl this year after the AFC and NFC Conference Championships on Sunday. CYInterview predicts it’ll be the Green Bay Packers vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers for the coming 45th Super Bowl. Click on to CYInterview to see if we got this right.
