  • Alison Arngrim, Nellie Oleson from Little House on the Prairie, Talks: Emmy Nomination Consideration for Life Interrupted, Her One Woman Show, More

    In the 1970s, one of the popular television shows in the United States was Little House on the Prairie. One of the characters in the show was Nellie Oleson, played by actress Alison Arngrim. Today, the now veteran entertainer has a one woman show titled Confessions of a Prarie Bitch. This past weekend, she had two performances of the show at the Laurie Beechman Theatre in New York. In the acting world, Ms. Arngrim has teamed up with frequent CYInterview guest Mason Reese, to produce a pilot for the sitcom, Life Interrupted, which will hopefully be picked up. You can see the pilot, broken down into 5 minute segments, on YouTube. In Life Interrupted, Ms. Arngrim plays the ex-wife of Mason’s eponymous character. Her role in the series is up for Emmy nomination consideration, in the Best Actress in Short Form Comedy category.

His famous impersonations which include President Ronald Reagan, Johnny Carson, Jimmy Stewart and many others serve as a gold standard of sorts. Today, you can experience all of those impersonations and more at Rich Little’s Las Vegas show at the Tropicana Hotel. The show takes places five nights a week and begins at 7:00 PM. Additionally, you can read about great stories of his impersonations and the famous people in his life in his new book Little by Little: People I’ve Known and Been. Featured columnist Jay Bildstein joins us for an over 30 minute CYInterview with the show business legend. Mr. Little shares stories about President Reagan, Don Rickles, Jimmy Stewart, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Carson and numerous others.

    Wynn Las Vegas Sportsbook Manager John Avello Breaks Down Super 51 and the Vegas Action

    This coming weekend, thousands of residents and visitors will be watching Super Bowl 51 on the Las Vegas Strip, as well as taking advantage of gaming there. To discuss where the spread and money currently is going for Super Bowl 51 between the Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots, we welcome back to CYInterview Wynn Las Vegas sportsbook manager John Avello. Mr. Avello revealed to us there have already been multiple six figure bets on both the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons to win the big game. The game currently has the Patriots as a three point favorite over the Falcons. At the Wynn, players can also bet on 200 different props during the game.

    It was reported yesterday on NFL.com, the official website of the National Football League, that the Oakland Raiders have filed paperwork to relocate to the city of Las Vegas, Nevada. The article went on to state that the move would not become official unless approved by 24 of the 32 NFL team owners. Additionally, if approved, the team will not be playing in the Entertainment Capital of the World for a few more years.     At the Wynn Las Vegas, this year's College Football Playoff National Championship Game could very well be the most wagered on event in the history of national championship games for the sport, according to their sportsbook manager and CYInterview regular John Avello. We welcome John back to breakdown some of the angles for the big game, that will take place on Monday evening January 9th. Mr. Avello told us he currently has five and six figure bets on both Alabama and Clemson to win the national title. So far there has been more money wagered on Alabama than Clemson. However, the veteran oddsmaker says this game is a true even contest and it could swing in either direction.
